This is a hard task for Puello. He is talented, but Smith has the wind in his back .. and the fight is in England.

Puello was robbed against Matias. Had Smith had to fight Puello for that belt, he wouldn't have that belt. Any Richardson Hitchins sightings?

True, so I hope he gets this win here and his title rightfully back. Puello is skilled in a subtle way and can handle a good fight too as we saw with Akhmedov.

I like Puello a lot. I see no fighter at 140 I'd pick to beat him conclusively. Have you heard anything about Richardson Hitchins? Is he still in Witness Protection?

Last I heard Hitchens had trouble making weight for Duarte and had to bow out then nothing. I could see Puello pulling off some big upsets, he doesn't do anything badly in terms of technicals where I could say this would be easy for a fighter with blank to exploit. He just doesn't have fight changing power so he gets overlooked.

Puello beating any of the top guys at 140 wouldn't be big upsets. He already holds wins over Sandor Martin and Gary Antuan Russell. Hitchins punked out of the Duarte fight and now has a fixed amount of time to fight his mandatory, Lindolfo Delgado, or be stripped. I never liked Hitchins. I tend to dislike fighters from Brooklyn in general.

HItchins should just move up in weight if he's having difficulty making 140. Or he's just flat out scared of Duarte. Which is odd to me because I think it would be an easy fight for Hitchins.
