Doesn't surprise me. Marquez could barely throw, and when he did he didn't hit. Makes it even more embarrassing to me that Mayweather didn't get him out of there, he could have at any point after the third.

Your joke ass fighter, and you joke ass Americans who picked Lacy to destroy Calzaghe now you pathetic ****s turn your back on Lacy like the cowards you are.
Lacy was an overly hyped bum from day one. Lets not get things mixed up either, Joe's name wasn't even mentioned in this article. So why is his and Lacy's name brought into the mix?Last edited by WESS; 10-22-2009, 11:07 AM.

Let's say that boxer A throws 50 punches in a fight and connecting with 40 which would give an 80% connect ratio. If the other guy (boxer B) throws 500 while landing 300 he'll only get a percentage of 60. While using the percentage as gauge you'd say that boxer A dominated boxer B while in reality it's the other way around.
So calling this thread the greatest one-sided beatings and supporting the claim with the statistic 'Connection-percentage' just fails.
Like I said this thread is not a bad way to look and judge things from a different perspective. Its personal issues people have with the fighters themselves....

James Toney in his prime, Mayweather, Hopkins and Jones, what did you expect? For these guys to take more hits than a Cotto or Margarito?
