Williams talking like he a big draw. Clottey don't bring **** but yet Cotto and Margs still fought him.

They wouldn't have though if he was not promoted by Top Rank. This is another Paul Williams hate thread I see. Clottey sucks dude. The only reason that people constantly praise him is because he gave Cotto and Margarito somewhat of a tough fight. The reason those guys went life and death with him is because they are not that good. Clottey wants to get in the ring with Williams because he knows that is his last chance at the big time. He would go in there and show up for the paycheck like he does in all of his fights while Williams gives him the Winky treatment.

Williams wants to fight new guys & tuff guys so i don't want to see him fight Margarito again.

Clottey would be a tuff oponent but still i would like him to face Mosley!

I don't care. He still fights in the same stance as Winky Wright with the exact same kind of style. He doesn't have that much power. He throws a better variety of punchs than Winky, but he constantly takes breaks in rounds, and you can't do that against Paul Williams.

The dude was going to fight Dzinziruk and people call this guy the next Floyd. LMAO. I guarantee you that fight would've happened if the Pavlik fight didn't get signed. Do you think Floyd would fight a guy like that? Fuck to the no. Comparing Williams to Floyd and Juan Ma is just plain simple mindedness bra. He had his big shot set up with Pavlik, and Kelly blew it. The only guys that have called him out are Clottey (I just explained my opinion about that), James Kirkland (Now here's a guy that you can say that Williams legitimately ducked, but he was still a green prospect that only beat Joel Julio), Martinez (Was quiet as a mouse when Williams was at 154) and of course Dzinziruk like I just mentioned. Everybody else at 147 and 154 are shook. Plain and simple.

I'm surprised by how many people don't like Williams. The guy can box, brawl, move! Very entertaining to watch.

I can understand why he wouldn't want to fight Margarito, given the fact that Williams has offered Margo a rematch after, Margo beat Cotto. I wouldn't give him a rematch either. Been there done that.

Clottey, is a different story, personally, I'd like to see Clottey vs Williams, I think Williams could beat Clottey convincingly like he beat Wright (similar fighting habits). However, Williams is his own star now...why would he want to fight Clottey when he can track down the mosely, pbf. I don't think the man is afraid of any welterweights...if he was he wouldn't be facing Pavlik who is more equivalent in size.

I give respect to Martinez taking the bout with Williams. THat is going ot be a good fight. Until then, Willams will continue to build his resume.
