Of course a fight like this happens when I am on my midnight shift and I was asleep!! What a fight. Gallegos will be getting some big money fights off this when he recovers. Nothing to hang his head about. But Najee may have just stamped himself as a headliner for the foreseeable future.

Damn, Gallegos took some serious shots without going down. You have to give it to Lopez because he clearly couldn't see and was too afraid to throw his jab because he didn't know what was coming back. He won that fight with sheer and determination and less on his skill set. What a gritty performance. I really hope Najee is rewarded for that effort and gets a big fight. ProBox needs to let him go on another platform so he can fight someone in the top 10-15 or even top 20. They both deserve a long recovery before they go back to war.

Great fight. I had reservations about Lopez prior, but he found a way after taking some post-cut punishment and closed the show like a true fighter. Gallegos has nothing to be ashamed of, either. I look forward to seeing both guys again.

It will also be interesting to see how Najee next performs. He took a lot of punishment prior to the stoppage, got dropped, and lost a ton of blood. My guess is he lost a few years tonight.

Probox shows Zuffa how it's done. Small venue but great atmosphere. Great Matchmaking. Decent Commetators and a picture perfect performance by the Ref. Christopher Young is becoming the best ref in boxing.

Chris Young shows that a great referee is as important if not more then judges. Without him we would not have see the rise of Espinoza since every other ref would have stopped that fight against Ramirez when Espinoza fell into the ropes after getting up.

A few years is a bit too dramatic. Fighters usually take more damage in diring camp when the spar hard for weeks and that's where the years getting taken off but the cut can cause issues in the future but i really think Lopez gained more from the fight then he lost. He took some good shots but like i said that's noting compared to the damage fighters take in sparring and yesterday he learned something very important and thats how to overcome adversity against someone that was willing to leave it all in the ring.

Different than Coe who was in a similiar position against Gallegos Lopez showed thathe has heart and the mentality of a fighter which is needed at the top level. The ring was also extreme small but he showed me something would love to see him fight some of the brits. Buatsi vs Lopez would be a good fight to make or even Yarde vs Lopez

99% excellent comments. Would have been 100% if you Nad mentioned the always hot ProBox round card girls.

This was a blood bath; Algieri's dry cleaning bill will be huge. Both guys deserve props and the time to recover from those cuts.
