Yes, it has to happen. Floyd avoided spence, thurman, brook, khan, bradley, basically the entire division.
So all will be forgiven if you fight only bud, that's a fantastic deal. The alternative is arguments of who's the best from now until eternity

Floyd said he is still capable of doing record breaking numbers, well that lies with making fights with Manny Canelo and Crawford

If true, it's a sad indictment on where boxing finds itself. When else in history were fights between retired boxers and hasbeens bigger than active champions in their prime?

Is there a reason you're refusing to answer if Floyd is in his prime?

Does Floyd get full credit for beating Pacquaio?

I don't even understand what he was doing with his money. I know he bought cars, lived in a mansion, but where did the rest go?

Boxing is thriving and struggling at the same time, it's so odd. So many new players in the game, so much money flooding in and titleholders are constantly unifying, P4P guys are facing each other, it's on Prime and now Netflix as huge events. It's crazy.

Yet it's circus fights that are dominating boxing – influencers, MMA guys, YouTuber and retired boxers.

                What a paradox.

Hard core fans might not want to admit this, but the biggest draws in combat sports STILL are:

                  1. Tyson
                  2. Mayweather
                  3. McNuggets
                  4. Jake Paul
                  5. Canelo
                  6. Pacquiao

Big drop-off after that, and then probably 7. Tank 8. Ryan Garcia. He's already got fights scheduled with Tyson and Pacquiao. If he wanted to maximize revenue (not saying anything about the merits of the fights themselves) he should fight McNuggets, Jake Paul, and Canelo afterwards.

Dud "B-side" Crawford isn't even in the same universe when it comes to being a box office draw as these guys. Raskin is delusional.

You don't honestly think that a fight between Bud and Floyd is competitive at this stage of Floyd's career, do you?

Only way the fight is happening is if the saudis pay floyd 500m for this 1 fight other than that we know what the script is. Pacman 2 for 200m and ilia Topuria under boxing rules for another 200-300m. If I'm Mayweather manager I would only be targeting 4 fights pacqman 2 for 150-200m, lara @ 157/160 for the belt for legacy on paper and 125m. (Market it as floyd going up in weight risking his 0 for a belt), ' though Lara is the weakest champ right now within a weight class reach, floyds 3rd fight for 200-250m vs Ilia Topuria under boxing consider it Mayweather vs Connor 2, Floyds last fight if he wants it since it's Netflix would be Jake Paul for 125-200m. 4 fights 750m with another 100m from winnings or signing bonus going towards investments in Gold ******* and the sp500 Mayweather couldn't touch until 2040
