I'd have more respect for Mosley if he won.
Would you have more respect for pbf if he LOST to mosley in a war?

exactly, haters and going to hate reguardless...Look at what Mangler just said"Boxing wars" are for one-dimensional fighters. Mayweather is not one-dimensional and would engage in a skilled boxing match with Mayweather. And, to answer your question, the haters on this site would not have respect for Mayweather regardless of who he fought, how he fought or the outcome of the fight. The hate is so crazy, that people think Mayweather would not take a boxing match for 50 million dollars!!
Forgeting that Mayweather is a prize fighter!Last edited by Horus; 10-21-2009, 06:11 PM.Comment

VERY very true, i agree completely"WAR"?
Why bleed and cut it you don't have too?
I don't blame Floyd for not wanting to be punch drunk.
I don’t want to see him in there just swinging crazy wild ass punches.
That’s not what I expect from or want to see from Floyd, and so called “boxing fans” shouldn’t either.
Could you imagine someone like MIchael Jordan dumbing down his skill level to make a basketball game closer so people can see a more competitive game?
Or Jerry Rice purposely dropping passes so football fans can see how he struggles under pressure.
Allot of "so-called" boxing fans but really are just "FIGHT FANS" are always trying to force Floyd and other fighters that practice the sweet science to abandon their defense and put there chin in the air for there enjoyment.
FLOYD is boxing at its purist form.
So the excitement you should get is not Wanting Floyd to change his game up...
But wanting to see if anybody will take the risk like Castillo did in order to beat Floyd.....Floyd shouldn’t have to change his style to accommodate FIGHT FANS like SOME OF you.
BOXING FANS love his style just the way it is...
It is the FIGHT fans who have a problem with itComment

Floyd showed in the Hatton fight that he can fight as dirty as his opponent and he isn't intimidated in the ring he never gets bullied he can handle himself.
People sayin he'd get KTFO must not seriously believe that...Floyd has a solid chin and great defence even on the inside he rolls with punches and takes sting off them. I can't see him getting KTFO much like I can't see Mosley gettin KTFO.
If they fought it would go 12.Comment

I agree with Horus too...no point fighting a fight that isn't your style and getting hurt needlessly....One of the things I like about Floyd is how refined his style is he seems so smooth in the ring and not wild at all...as though he's always in control and calm.Comment

You guys who think people dislike Floyd because he refuses to stand right in front of an opponent and slug it out are missing the point entirely. It's not about slugging it out, it's about winning decisively against the best in your own division. Not beating up on guys who ordinarily are 20 pounds lighter and have a 4 to 6 inch reach disadvantage.
Nobody needs to see Mayweather "slug it out" to change their opinion of him...they just need to see him win decisively over those in his division that he claims to be so much better than. You can't win people over by running for 12 rounds while landing 10 counters per round. If he's as good as he thinks he is, he should be able to stop, or at least badly hurt, these guys. Hell, he couldn't even KO Marquez. WHo the **** wants to watch **** like that? That's why I will never, ever buy a Mayweather PPV.Comment

STFU!!!! PLEASE he deserves his props he got skills , but he aint got no balls , he lost them somewhere in the lower divisions , and he just wants to fight guys he knows he has an advantage over. **** him , I wouldnt miss his non-exciting fights and his self-proclamations , and his ****** comments and his "Im all about money" attitude , neither his I make my own decicions and I pick my fighters , but then talks about his promoter or whatever the **** he is , taking care of his career , We wanna se boxers who come to fight , who come to box , who accept every challenge who leave their guts in the ring , who leave their hearts in the ring , He leaves sweat at most. He doesnt bring any type of excitment to this sport , only drama and controversy , he should go to the wwe and stay there , he can be pretty there and fake as he is, and people would not have a problem with it cuz it is a fake sport. And that post about his ppv numbers , dont mean **** , I bought marquez-mayweather to see if he got whoped , i bought it because of marquez , he is exciting , I bought De la hoya-mayweather , hoping oscar will beat him. His mouth does hype a fight and his image as a fighter , but not in the right way , people would like to see him go against the best , thats what the best do. And it is sad , I think he does have the "boring-style" to beat them. But he has no balls , he is too scared and we all ****ing now it to have a "1" in his loss column."WAR"?
