The way to beat Ryan Garcia at this stage of his career, is to produce a higher work rate 'and to just merely survive his power. If a fighter can achieve those two feats, I honestly believe Garcia becomes discouraged. We have seen this vs. Rolly Romero on his last fight'.

But stylistically, this is really one of the best ever opportunities for Ryan Garcia to win a World title 'Mario Barrios, is a solid fighter. But I don't think he has the individual attributes to really test Garcia. Those attributes are a high level defence, combined with boxing skill and power'.

Note: If Ryan Garcia loses to Mario Barrios it would most likely be due to not having the best of training camps, and being dead at the weight of 147 pounds 'another fighter bites the dust, with weight draining themselves to avoid fighting at their more natural weight'.

Now? I don't think Ryan Garcia has historically been a fighter, who has weight drained himself extensively 'but? When a fighters work ethic outside the ring is not the best. This lifestyle can force fighters to move up through the weight classes faster in their careers'.

To conclude: The past few years of Ryan Garcia's career, have not been the best in terms of worth ethic 'this may have an effect on how optimally conditioned he makes the 147 pound weight limit, for his title fight vs. Mario Barrios'.

But nevertheless, Ryan Garcia has to seize this opportunity 'the fight is stylistically straight up his straight, and the stage is set for him to become a The WBC 147 pound World Champion' etc.

Barrios has all the physical tools and skills to school Garcia. But he won't. There is something wrong with his head. He will find some way to lose.

When they stand side by side Mario makes Ryan look like a lil boy. His frame is way more jacked than Ryans. I got Mario winning this by putting on a master class demostration. Jump in the water and swim without getting wet!

Nah this will end in another successful defense for Barrios via majority draw.

I agree 100%. I don't know why all these Garcia fans believe he is going to destroy the Aztec warrior. We haven't seen Ryan destroy anyone in 5 years. As a matter of fact, we've been watching him get destroyed (when he's not on DA JUICE)

He does look way more jacked than Ryan. I would love for you to be right, however, hand speed will be the factor here. I am no fan of Ryan at all but fighting Mario was an easy decision - Mario does not have KO power nor great footwork. Unless Mario lands the biggest punch of career, this is a UD win for Ryan.

It's going to come down to if Barrios can survive long enough and win the later rounds. Barrios is a very good counter puncher, has heart, but is very conventional top to bottom type of fighter. If Garcia can find a ***** in his armor, then he's going go for the kill. So I'm interested to see if Barrios has the chin to handle Garcia's power, and if Garcia can stay in the pocket to out land him.
