Zuffa Boxing continues to trend in the right direction, but the takeover talk is premature.

Dufus Boxing is the real name. When are they going to make fights we want to see?

WHY is Opetai not fighting the Best out there?
I thought it was the BEST vs the BEST.

Jon Jones never fought Francis or Aspinal. UFC Champs NEVER fight PFL, ONE, Strike, Bellator Champs.

I don't even watch UFC and it supposed to be this great Product.

it is starting out at a decent pace it is doing what it wants to do and that is to get started.
There has got to be a few channels (APPS) that are cheap and have a steady flow of fights on a regular basis for boxing to get into more peoples schedule again. forget the politics of boxing, i hope they continue and continue to improve with match making and easy and regular fight cards. Was every fight on Tuesday Night Fights or Friday Night Fights a great night of boxing ? There was consistancy, there was improvement there was action there were fights and regular fights that drew fight fans into the cards. And if it gets good and it takes off it will not last as it is now. It will cost a lot more and loose its shine. If If If..................

I certainly hope they don't take over. You can tell they haven't invested a lot of money into it and Dana is just using it as a part time job. Granted, some of the fights have been exciting but they don't have a lot of cameras to see all knockdowns, they fight in the apex, their roster is very limited, and they don't even have a standard website or anything. I recognize they have had only 3 shows but that's enough to setup a ****** website. Besides from Efe Ajagba, Bohachuk, Jai Opetaia, they mostly have unknowns, and guys trying to get to the top.

When Dazn came out in 2018 they bragged about the "American takeover" and how they were going to steal all the fighters from the American promoters. I told you guys then that was never going to happen. Fast forward 7 years and they still only have like five American boxers (Boots, Ford, Ammo, Diego and Bam) on their roster. Maybe a few more. We have seen Dazn over the last 7 years beg PBC and TR for their fighters due to their inability to build a championship roster. Look at the shyte show for the Boots v Virgil fight. Now it's Zuffa....I mean Dufus boxing's turn. Dana said he was in no way going to work with the sanc bodies. Now reality sets in and he's telling fighters like Jai and the few other has-beens he's signing that they can unify with the other champs because he knows his product will fail in a year if he doesn't. The WBC IBF WBA WBO should make a stand right now and tell all fighters no double dipping. Either you're with US or WITH THE TEar-or-IST! (shout out W. Bush). They can stomp a mudhole in Dana White's azz now before he even gets it off the ground!

The only reason I've been watching is because it was on Sunday. I doubt I wouldn't even pay attention to Zuffa boxing on Saturday night over the other promotions.

I'm happy to get boxing on Sunday as I was already a subscriber to paramount. No issues with me. They have been fun cards soo far. Keep em coming! Only shows that I tune in for that I have access to are probox, the free ESPN cards on Roku and zuffa. I don't have dazn so I watch those any way I can

Just can't see Zuffa belt having the same prestige as a world championship title that have some history even due to controversies. if the fighters are unable to unify and fights opponents outside the promotion. I understand people would be happy if divisions were less and more stacked.

But for example, you won't see much Bantamweights taking the risk of jumping to Featherweight even if they are quite struggling to make the weight, or middleweights to light heavyweights.

I think it will be great organization for pro boxers, for those that need a consistent steady income and getting the platform to beat recognizeble notable names. Think it will eventually get as much viewership as Probox fights eventually.

You probably see stand out prospects matched more harshly that Top Rank. But won't suffer so negatively if they lose. And will get more opportunities to improve significantly though it might take time.

There was a time there 8 traditional divisions. Now there are 17. There was a time there was only one really important title, now there are 4 recognized titles. There use to be no 4 division unified champion. Now there have been several.

My point is things change. The idea that boxing may be unified under one banner from all the divided promotions, titles, broadcasters, streaming services, and multiple income sources seems unlikely here in early 2026. By 2030? 2035? Who knows. The tallest redwood was only a seed once.....
