Let's look at Canelo's last 3 opponents before Crawford.
Mungia, Berlanga, Scull. Right after fighting Canelo they got Knock the F Out. Something Canelo couldn't do. So did Crawford beat a faded Canelo?

I'm utterly shocked that Gervonta didn't even get nominated for the Marvin Kohn Good Guy Award.

Deserved. Although I may have given it to Bam or Inoue myself.

Because bud is retiring, i d give it to inoue. Because bud knew he was retiring he could leave it all in the ring against nelo. Whilst inoue knew he was fighting for another 5 years so wasn't fighting like it was his last fight, he had to reserve a bit

                That goes without saying.

Still a top win though despite that.

Canelo just lost to the better man. Before the guys you mentioned Canelo faced Ggg Charlo and Ryder and all of them retired and were soft touches.
