Some might have questioned him but they would have done tests and found out there was none.

After retirement, Armstrong was quoted as saying, that he constantly chewed raw steak, without swallowing & sucking out all of it's goodness..
He attributed this to his boundless energy in the ring..

He had a condition with his heart too

Probably because those kind of drugs weren't rampant back then. I don't know, I'm just guessing.

so what you're saying is you're giving Henry Armstrong the benefit of the doubt that he is not using steroids, but will always assume that Manny might be on roids?

Well back then people use to take all kinds of crazy **** (most would be considered poison as opposed to PED) and it was leagal over the counter, so he might have very well been on something.
