Most people like to see knockouts and action fights. Shakur fights Olympic style. He is incredibly good at it. The majority of fans are put to sleep by it. It is pro boxing, not amateur. If Shakur ever wants to be seen as a great and make big money he will have to learn to stop guys along with the defense.

I mean he will always have a tiny group of fans who heap praise on him for never getting hit and taking no chances that could result in him stopping his opponent. But he will go down as boring and most will never care about him.

IDK man - to me, it seems like fighters are not permitted to dispute the outcome of these Riyadh fights. At least not in the immediate aftermath.

Maybe I'm too used to all of the politicking that typically goes on - but a fighter who is the champion, and also a local, just standing there taking a wide L with a smile seems off.

The question isn't asking Teo if he won the last 6, it's ask Teo if he really thought he only won 1 round.

If you believe that Shakur fights Olympic Style, you don't know boxing either. I'd hate to hear what you thought of Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Floyd, etc..

They definitely did not fight Olympic Style. Sometimes they were able to knockout their opponents, sometimes they were not. I don't know if you (fake) fans realize this, but at the elite level not every fight is going to end in a knockout.

Conor Benn should be forced to fight the top guys at 154 or 160. He's trying to take the Ryan Garcia shortcut to big money fights.

Crawford and Shakur have broken you mentally after the ass kicking they gave your Latino heroes lol
Shakur is Latino, HE wore The Puerto Rico flag. I love Crawford, he is Great. Skills and destruction, but Haney and Shakur are just pointers. Learn you races and demographics. I have nothing against Black boxers. Ennis, Abdula, Crawford, Keyshawn are entertaining and great to watch. Haney and Shakur are boring even to black people, Like Shannon said.

The Lopez’ need to grow the fuck up and knock it off with the bullshit excuses already. Now they want pity.

Sr said Jr lost because everyone hated him and wanted him to lose because they are racist against black people.

He blamed everyone from Turki, DAZN, Eddie Hearn, social media in general and all the way to the build up to the fight for his son’s loss.

Teofimo Sr even went so far as to describing his son as very sensitive and mentally weak who cannot stand a lot of pressure. He said the final presser mentally ruined his son.

When Shakur pulled out that liquor bottle as a gift for his son to give him. He said it mentally broke Teofimo, Jr.

Which explained his son’s uneven performance in the fight. I thought his post fight comments were both classless and with poor taste.

                      SRL 62%
                      Ali 66%
                      Floyd 54%
                      RJJ 72%
                      Pac 63%

                      Shakur 45%

That is the KO percentage of the fighters you mentioned. If you look at their respective careers they obviously fought in far tougher era's and fought far better comp.

Floyd is the most defensive on that list and he was far more offensive at the lighter weights.

I have said it before, I like Shakur. He is very skilled. He has years ahead of him. I hope he learns to sit down on punches....and ko's or not, hopefully he grows into a little more entertaining style.
