My problem is Teo struggles against fighters who move a lot. Traditionally, Shakur dances around the ring and only engages at opportunistic moments. So I think Teo will land a knock down early in the fight with his explosiveness and reach. Towards the end of the fight, I think Shakur will start download the data while picking up his patterns and idiosyncrasies. Once Stevenson understands him then he'll land crisp combos and back him up and win a SD. So the first 4-5 rounds Teo will land the harder shots and catch Stevenson off guard,Stevenson will keep his distance with jabs to the body. The second Stevenson will feel more comfortable standing in the pocket and will block a lot of what Lopez is throwing.

    Stevenson by SD.

All I think is that Shakur is risking it if he tries to do his normal thing, eg fight like Kelly just did. Unlike Bakram, Teo is also a local NYC fighter.

I can't remember many fights that happened at MSG where someone is rewarded for fighting like that, especially if it includes another hometown guy like tonight's fight.

When Paulie fought Cotto at MSG, he boxed and fought, to the point where they had the crowd going ape at some points. Paulie had to give a career tough guy performance while having a broken jaw, still standing in there getting b@nged around until the 12th round. They gave him 3-4 rounds. I know SS is a much better fighter, but just saying....those MSG fights are often brutal affairs.

I don't feel great about putting stock into the idea that SS can and will raise his game and therefore not stink it up, I just think the recipe might be there for us to get that tonight.

Although, even then Shakur was viewed as a future pound-for-pound star.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Stevenson had nothing to do with the four kings.

We might as well Swap Tank out and insert Stevenson into the 4 Kings at lightweight.

I think we need to retire the idea of 4 Kings at lightweight. None of these guys are as good as the original 4 kings

That looks like an 18 foot ring, no advantage either way. Shakur will hit and grab over hit and run. Still 50-50.

I picked Shakur but I want Teo to knock him out.

If I was Teo I would wait for Shakur to come to me.
