It is a popular fight and has no meaning. Two named guys, but Eubank's last performance against a smaller fighter was atrocious. Doubt he will fair any better.

Chris Eubank Junior needs a win, before a potential fight against Canelo Alvarez can happen 'I honestly like the idea of Liam Smith vs. Chris Eubank Junior III'.

Note: Both Eubank Junior and Smith are on a comeback trail, and a win against each other 'In my opinion would be a solid level win, and a high profile win in terms of significance within the boxing community'.

I think both fighters would be game for a trilogy fight, and they would believe they could both win 'as it is they have beaten each other once before'.

Chris Eubank Junior's projected moved into the 168 pound divisions, should have really happened immediately after he beat Conor Benn during their first fight 'but instead? I think Eubank Junior has suffered the consequences of making material gains his idol'.

There was absolutely no need to make the rematch vs. Conor Benn at 160 pounds 'especially with the added rehydration clause. Chris Eubank Junior only has himself to blame, for his performance and complications he suffered after the fight'.

It has been crystal clear for many years now, that Chris Eubank Junior has been extensively weight draining himself to make 160 pounds 'and with that slowly he has been accumulating damage, which eventually surpassed his threshold of durability'.

To conclude: Conor Benn should have never had beaten Chris Eubank Junior or even lasted 12 rounds during their first fight 'but he did, due to Eubank Junior's decisions to stay at 160 pounds against the advice of his father Chris Eubank Senior'.

The fight against Canelo Alvarez can still happen, but? Chris Eubank Junior will have to achieve some big wins before it can become an attractive opportunity for Alvarez.

Canelo Alvarez has multiple potential fights out there at 175 pounds, which are bigger boxing events than fighting Chris Eubank Junior 'and most of those fights also have World titles attach to the event. Potential mega fights vs. David Benavidez, a rematch vs. Dmitry Bivol, and another mega fight vs. Artur Beterbiev etc.
