Muratalla is durable, and stays focused. You can tell he listens to his corner. Andy showed himself to be very clever. I wish he stayed on the inside a lot more. Also I didn't see one left hook from Andy. After a lot of those rights, the hook was right there but he never threw it

Both are winners. Cruz dared to become great fell short. Muratalla showed he is live dog. Great fight overall

Pretty close fight going into the tenth but then I sense Cruz either lost his heart or he was fatigued. Cruz is a very flashy fighter who can land those crisp combos but Muratalla was relentless. He kept backing Cruz up against the ropes and landing these thudding body shots that you can hear. Honestly, Muratalla's motor was probably difference maker because they landed about the same amount of punches.

Cruz is a good fighter but needs more rounds and experience in the pros.

I remember seeing him fight Moran on some undercard, Crawford v Madrimov I think and despite getting the win, it was clear he wasn't winning a world title with very few fights unless it was some very easy fight.

It doesn't raise questions. The fight was super close. And that's with only 6 pro fights.

Experience is the reason andy loss. Not talent. Just like when Loma loss to salido.

I read that article. Didn’t age well at all. The history of the world is littered with bad calls and upsets. Very few things in life are 100% certain. It can be shocking, and even disturbing, but it can also make life interesting. Congr ats to Muratalla. I hope Cruz bounces back.

Hope you’re right. Cruz is 30. Part of the reason why he was fast-tracked is because he hasn’t got much time to develop as a pro before his prime evaporates.

I was going for Raymond to win but Cruz showed a lot of good stuff with so little fights. It was a close fight and most rounds had ebb and flows. They landed almost the same amount of punches and Cruz's jab is world class alongside his stamina and chin. The fight had the right winner but the scores were a bit too high.
