      If Muratella really had zero chance, Robert Garcia would have avoided this fight just like he's avoiding Boots for Vergil. Cruz by UD, 8-4.

            I know for a Fact that DelaHoya avoided the Flyweight unification match offered to him for Sandoval to fight Olascuaga.
            Instead choosing to fight Yafai.

            So I wouldn't doubt he's at fault.

            But where did you get that it's Him avoiding putting Ortiz in against Ennis ?

                I see this fight the same way that writer sees it. I cannot believe that Muratalla's handlers have agreed to this fight as his first title defence. I thought they would have chosen to make a bit of money first.

                  I thought the same thing but that's what makes this fight intriguing - they chose Cruz over other options.

                    Cruz is the favorite at -200, so if Muratalla won, it wouldn't be that much of an upset.
