I'd be extremely undersized at middleweight but have similar dimensions doing only casual calisthenics for 15 mins a day

Small Welters Floyd & manny have bigger dimensions than Middleweight King Sugar Robinson. lifting weights for bulk changed the game

From religious use of neck brace weights Floyd has a huge 16.5" neck on his small 5 ft 8 ectomorph frame. Big neck contributed to his iron chin hero

Buff Guy BBC Adonis Joshua the GigaTyrone Of Boxing are included for an idea of how big the SUPER HEAVYWEIGHTS are. He has an 18" neck. Iron Chin Hero Mike Tyson neck monstrosity was rumored to be 20"

Same day weigh ins were a factor here, you don't have in some cases like a day and a half to blow back up to 170lbs from weighing in at 147 like now.

heard Naoya walks around at 137 fighting at 122

      *Jesse 120 fighting at 115

*the dwarf divisions are indeed tiny

Naoya would be 10+ pounds heavier should they fight

126 featherweight Naoya and Jesse can say gbye to that fight

These are some manlets so asian warrior twink has a huge advantage like Wladimir Klitschko when fighting Chris Byrd here.

I completely agree, watching old tapes of Sugar Ray Robinson feels like watching a different sport entirely. His fluidity was just otherworldly. I was actually trying to explain this to my nephew last weekend while we were waiting for a college wrestling match to start.

as do the MILLIONS and MILLIONS of boxing YouTubers such as Boxing Gems who pits the best of THIS era TBud up against Floyd in fantasy h2h analysis videos

              yes that's Ezzard

they weren't just the golden age of boxing but the golden age of America

American tailoring was at its peak then. See the elegant silhouette and dr@pe of US suits decades ago

Americans became outrageous over time their euroid underlings followed

every fighter ultimately grows into himself and develops his own unique style that can't be duplicated

no one fights exactly like the most influential boxers ever Joe Louis Sugar Robinson Muhammad Sugar Leonard Mike Tyson Floyd

they inspired countless young men but everyone grows into their own man

people still can't become carbon copies of TEXTBOOK guys Joe Louis Ricardo Lopez Juan Top Soviet Bivol

chances are next to none to replicate a special effects max boxer Sugar Robinson
fighters back then had no financial education

much of those losses came when Sugar and Ezzard were shot old men in need of paydays
I don't want to get into another Pacquiao vs. Mayweather discussion...it's BORING. However, whilst I agree that Mayweather was the more technically skilled fighter and had superior defence, Manny will go down higher in the history books because of his unmatched achievements i.e. only 8 division champion (vs. 5 for Floyd), only 4 decade champion (vs. 3 for Floyd), started his career at Junior Flyweight (vs. Super Featherweight for Floyd). I also believe that Mayweather should have a couple of losses to his name but was protected due to being the Vegas cash cow and Haymon's #1 fighter. Anyhow, let's agree to disagree!

Yeah that was definitely the golden age of American culture alright. People were a lot more dignified and refined back then (and wore suits as everyday attire) plus being a celebrity actually meant having a unique talent unlike today's lot who are just 'famous for being famous'. I guess the introduction of gangsta rap music, porn and social media has a lot to answer for!

Disagree re SRR, whilst his style was definitely unique (as is every fighter's), both Tyson & Ali idolised him and modelled their explosive combination punching after him.

manny is far behind Sugar Robinson when it comes to back foot boxing, jabbing, and close quarters fighting

Sugar Robinson beat Willie as amateurs. manny fumbled hard against his defensive wizard. Different leagues when it comes to cutting off the ring

guys who are like Sugar Robinson are Muhammad for the movement and Sugar Leonard for the offense
Disagree...Pacquiao was a phenomenal combination puncher (like SRR) and had one of the BEST right hook's in the business which dropped Hatton (twice), Cotto & Thurman.

He definitely didn't just rely on his straight left.

Sugar Robinson went above and beyond dropping opps with his OTHER power hand the right

Sugar right would knock opps out cold ROCKY GRAZIANO. Sometimes body knockouts instead

manny became two handed but Sugar Robinson was in his own league offensively

long right hook impacting the kidney

one of the few in boxing history who could regularly do rear uppers at range without getting clipped

double even triple consecutive hooks from the same hand whereas manny alternated hands

His mastery of looping strikes exceeded what manny developed

Sugar Robinson right was far better than manny right
