Also don’t expect an easy fight with Junto. Inoue has a gap in his defense and I would not be surprised if he’s knocked down by Nakatani although I expect him to win.
Regarding the upcoming schedule, I thought last year was the worst year for boxing in the history of the sport. I started watching in the early 70s. There were never whole months where there were no good fights.

C'mon, man last October was FIRE! Well, DUMPSTER FIRE anyway.
In light of the news that the Ortiz vs Ennis fight is in serious trouble (though both fighters obviously - to me - want the fight. I don't know what Oscar's problem is) I was looking at potential opponents for each. But everybody relevant already has a fight scheduled: Fundora vs Thurman, Xayas vs Barrou, Murtazaliev vs Kelly, Madrimov vs Salazar, Adams vs Agyarko. Only the following top fighters don't have dates: Bohachuk (seems like he needs a get back fight), Bakary Samake (never heard of him, though he's #10 on Ring's list), Pavel Sosulin (never heard of him, though he's #10 on TBRB's list).
Then there's Tszyu who ain't ready. I don't believe the fight against Spence talk. And Spence, IF he comes back it won't be against Ortiz or Ennis straight away. Same with Jermell IF he comes back. Speaking of former names and champs, whatever happened to Brian Castano? He disappeared after his KO loss to Jermell. Dude was a great fighter and could have given guys hell four a couple more years. He's 36 now, though, and inactive since 2022.
All this is to say that I never considered Conor Benn for either and Bread made great points for that being an excellent matchup for Boots since they're both with Matchroom, etc (all the points Bread made). I can see why Benn would want to avoid it - no more L's before going for a belt at 147, but it makes a lot of sense if he has confidence in himself. Plus, British boxing fans are better than US fans (of which I'm one) because L's don't matter as much to them and they support their guys even with losses, as we ALL should.
Bread head with more ennis nonsense trying to discredit Ortiz lmao. Doesn’t mention that bootsys is fighting cab driver after cab driver and his opponents are actually getting worse. Lima is even worse than the bum stannoais and the bum Karen lol
I like Breadman's takes most of the time. He is friends with Boots and it shows whenever he talks about him.
I like Boots and Ortiz as fighters. I'd favor Boots slightly over Virgil. But Boots career has been ran like a comedy show. You are telling me Boots, who was humongous for 147 and was already having issues with the weight, couldn't have taken a big paycheck to go to 154 to fight Ortiz....who is smaller and will likely be the underdog? Then go back to 147 and unify if that is what he wanted to do? I mean for G o d
's sake, according to Bread and Boot's fanboys, Boot's can dominate anyone anytime. Why the F would he turn down a big offer for 7 pounds????
Boots said he wanted a tune up at 154. Dude probably comes in on welter fight night at 160+. He is huge. LOL.
Too much bias there. Boots career is just a comedy of errors. All any real fight fan wants is to see them fight. Hopefully Boots lives up to the hype and becomes a star and helps the sport. Same with Ortiz.
