Better counter-puncher: Pacquiao or Cotto?

Roach is trying to get Cotto to press the fight and come straight forward like a Ricky Hatton clone so Cotto gets embarrassed. Roach will resort to name-calling like Cotto is a running because he doesn't want Cotto to box Manny at all. He wants Cotto to come straight forward like a one dimensional fighter like Carl Froch.

He was a great counter puncher against Hatton, but then again Hattons a dumb ass and just comes straight-forward.

Neither of them are, but in the last few fights Pacquiao has shown superior counter punching skills. Against Marquez and Hatton he used lots of counter punching.

I've never seen Cotto try to purposely make someone miss to counter them.

I don't consider Pacquiao a counter-puncher at all. Sometimes he catches guys in between their punches cause his hands are so fast and he throws so many punches

He almost killed Hatton with counters. JMM was also put on his ass in the second fight with a counter. Morales went down in the third fight with Manny being chased backwards along the ropes. That was a sweet counter. There's three examples.
