In other words Ortiz and his team still don't want the fight. It's a duck. They will continue to price themselves out with delusional thoughts about what they're worth. Not buying the BS.

I believe you are right. I remember at the time thinking Jaron's decision might have long term consequences and here we are. That said, I don't think Turki likes Oscar either

If I understand it correctly, a guarantee for Ortiz and Ennis with the promoters taking whatever is left over is the the path going forward. Seems like the real problem then is that the promoters don't want to take the risk and Turki isn't going to bail them out.

If they fight great but honestly, I'm not counting on it.

Stanionis wasn't worth it! Bad move by Boots! Hearn shouldn't have allowed that to happen!

Canelo too “disrespected” Turki at one point. Guess what happened a few months later? Turki paid Canelo
See that’s why you are beyond delusional lol. You put Bootsy on the same level of Canelo. It’s just incredibly delusional. You think cause people made concessions for Canelo who fought every name in the book except benevidez they would make the same for a guy who is almost 30 and never beat ..let alone got in the fight with a world class fighter? Keep smoking whatever it is you’re smoking you weirdo lol

If ennis ever beats anyone of note I’m sure turki would be more into paying for the fight. But Bootsy is not a sure thing like people seem to think if your financing a big money fight you want 2 proven competitors. Not one guy who’s fought elite opponents and one guy who has never. It’s a fair assessment that delusional bootsy fans hate to hear

I think we all know this match-up shouldn't need Turki. DLH enjoys being a thorn in Hearn's side and getting one over on him, and this is just the latest story in their relationship. We're being conditioned into perceiving this as a massive fight, but it's a good match-up and that's all. That's why Team Ortiz continues to mention Spence as an option: a relatively easy match-up against a faded name whom DLH believes would enhance Ortiz's marquee value. DLH prefers Ortiz vs. Spence or Thurman, and I think he's waiting to see if Thurman can upset Fundora...so then he can request the WBC to make Ortiz/Thurman. That interim belt needs to be cashed in this year.

Ennis should focus on Baraou/Zayas. He'll risk some inactivity doing so, but it'll put him into position to become 2-division titlist. If he beats the winner, then he can unify with Kelly/Murtazaliev.

Instead of asking to be called, why doesn't he just call himself and be done with all of this ****.

Another marketing plot to keep everyone asking, one more fight each fighter and then meet?

They are puzzled why Saudi Arabia financier Turki Alalshikh is not stepping in to provide the funds to make the appealing Ortiz-Ennis fight happen while instead backing less-action fighters including Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney........

Sheik has "Jungle Fever" thats why.... he thinks supporting boring runners like Haney & Shakur make money! He may be rich but he's also an idiot & casual when it comes to understanding Boxing. They may be popular in the U.S. but ignored Globally... bad investment

Oh boy. Wait until you see the sheer difference in skill and power, not to mention speed - that is, if Team Ortiz doesn't go hiding behind a purse split or "other opportunities."
