The semi-retired Ricky Hatton has once again voiced his desire to fight a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Hatton suffered his first career defeat to Mayweather with a ten round stoppage in 2007. Hatton has not fought since a May two-round knockout at the hands of Manny Pacquiao. If Hatton decides to return to the ring, Mayweather would be a target. as well as, if he was to fight Pac and win, which he wont, that still wouldnt erase his devasting, FIRST loss of his career to FLOYD.

You are misleading, did you see the condition of hatton after the loss to gayweather and pacquiao? Which one hatton look done and destroyed? In gayweather, after the fight he even stood up in the ring and made a gallant statement before his fans and made succesful comeback right away. In pac-man, after the loss, what he look like? Are you blind, his eyes are all white, unconscious and need immediate medical attention to recover. And after recovering senses, he walked straight to his holding room with head down in shame. And where is hatton now? Still can't recover from said loss. Now tell me who destroyed hatton.

Come on Hatton, you're not that good. Even the best version of Hatton could do no more than make things uncomfortable for Mayweather for a few rounds until Floyd started timing him.

He never said he wants revenge, just wants to give it another go even if he gets knocked out again.

The fight will never happen anyway. If he is to return it should be at 147, so he can get his strength and conditioning back. He's outgrown the 140 division now which was plain to see at the Pac weigh in. He won't do too well against the likes of Cotto or Mosely, but against other guys in the division he could do some damage still IMO.
