being upset by Fat Gilbert the guy who Top Soviet beat 9-3 easily would dampen the demand for Top Soviet Bivol v Fat Dave

Top Soviet might just leap up to cruiser and rematch Fat Gilbert directly
oh sorry fat zurdo i meant to type!

Benavidez is just as bad a fight for CBS as Ramirez was.

Benavidez said it multiple times, he is not done at 175. This fight presented itself so he took it. He said he will 100 percent go down again to chase fights with Bivol or Beterbiev. I hope these two can get the trilogy done in the first quarter so we will see Benavidez vs the winner in September.

Fat Dave is better defensively than Fat Gilbert and has a good jab when he uses it

at least with Fat Gilbert CBS was able to get in some clean headshot combos

Top Soviet Bivol v Fat Dave would be the biggest fight of the year

But Fat Dave cant allow Fat Gilbert to upset him

u would think going to cruiser to fight zurdo who is well established there would be a fairly hard tast, bookies seem to think it will be fairly easy but im not so sure, would be impressive if he just showed up and took his belt but i think it will be a hard fight

Fat Dave stock is at its all time high coming off of his career best performance

it was a good but far from great opponent but no one cares

similar dynamic to Oleksandr being fighter of the year candidate due to his career best performance knocking out Daniel lol

yes but danny dubois had stopped miller hrgovic and AJ before the usyk rematch and his fans were saying he beat usyk in fight 1 and was robbed & yarde loses anytime he fights a named guy so danny was the better win

That's BS ... Beterbiev was calling him right after the Yarde fight... I think Benny is game but he definitaly ducked that one ... Zurdo is a much easier fight for him on paper...

Hoping that this is the start of a run where he primarily fights elite fighters - Ramirez is world level at least. Not CBS with respect.

If he campaigns in this division without facing Opetai after skipping the previous divisions elite fighters. It starts to look like he's being 'managed'.

Boxing can't afford that at the moment with one of its stars.
