Max Kellerman All Time P4P List

    1. Sugar Ray Robinson
    2. Manny Pacquiao
    3. Henry Armstrong
    4. Muhammad Ali
    5. Harry Greb
    6. Sam Langford
    7. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    8. Roberto Duran
    9. Pernell Whitaker
    10. Terrance Crawford

Me personally I would have Duran and Pernell ahead of Floyd

Srl is missing so Crawford would have to come off

        too much recency bias

Henry’s weight hopping eclipses manny’s weights

Sugar Leonard not being ahead of Pernell TBud manny is just etarded

Ezzard is ahead of the 4 aforementioned guys

He shouldn't be that high even now IMO.

Max Kellerman himself was saying during the intros to Canelo-Crawford that never has the overall perception of a boxer's career hung in the balance quite like it did for Crawford that night. So did the win over Canelo really validate his career that much?

If he had cleaned out 168lbs or even 154lbs he would have a much better argument. His win over Canelo was historic, but it was still only one win over one man on one night.

I think Crawford had the ability to do more, and I think he needed to if we're talking about being cemented as a top ten all-time great. He's a great fighter of his era, no doubt, but when you're being compared to the pantheon of all-time greats, the requirements are less compromising and scrutiny more severe. Once you go past Canelo and Spence, there are a lot of B-level solid wins, which is fine, but not for top ten of all time IMO. Sugar Ray Leonard fought Duran three times, Hearns twice and Hagler once, amongst other big fights.

There are levels to greatness, and although it may not necessarily be Crawford's fault if he didn't get there, that doesn't make it any less so.

Crawford is one of just three men in the history of boxing to win lineal world championships in four weight classes.

The other two are Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

For most of boxing's history, junior-welterweight and super-middleweight did not exist.

Henry Armstrong was champion at feather, lightweight and welterweight. In the fifteen weight era he would have been champion at super-feather and junior-welterweight as well, making it five total.

Traditionally speaking, Crawford would have been lineal champ in two weight-classes, lightweight and welterweight, and would probably have taken a shot at middleweight. Let's keep things in perspective.

And he still only has two great wins regardless.

Fairly decent list for a kosher anti white bigot. Leonard Usyk Golovkin Lennox and Calzaghe need to be respected. Whitaker and Floyd don't belong.
