'I still think that it is more normalized in boxing than it should be, mainly because of the risks to the fighters, and that bothers me. It worries me because you and I both know, especially from your amazing book Damage, about what can happen to a fighter, what can happen to their brain, and I think use of performance-enhancing drugs in any respect can make that more possible'
its reads like she is very invested in trying to do her job as well as she can and to hold cheaters to account and maybe even ban them
I think she is frustrated at the amount of loop holes in the whole thing, fighters going long periods with no test whatsoever, substances they know about but are not on the banned list, micro dosing and the difficulties with that, even if they do get busted u have the wbc and their lawyers and promoter manager im sure saying its random contamination that week, yeah like my guy just opened a new jar of supplements that week that happened to be contaminated with this steroid or whatever, sorry wont happen again
& boxing has a lance armstrong possibly, that would have to be a very high profile very successful boxer who has gamed the system for many years and got away with it (but lance didnt in the end)
There's a lot of people who obviously after an A sample comes back, we hear B sample this, B sample that. How many times has the B sample been different?
We’ve never had that, where the B sample was different.

No surprise there.
I wonder if VADA would even confess to such a thing as it would call into question not only VADA's competence but its integrity too.

Not sure what you and the goof above you are implying with this?
The B Sample never comes back different to the A Sample because it's the exact same sample of blood, just separated into separate bottles. If Sample A comes back positive then Sample B is going to also, outside of some kind of extremely rare mistake.
