        This is hard.

        JMM but only very slightly.

Cotto has a tremendous resume himself. But JMM has had more fight so naturally his resume is more packed than Cotto.

I think Cotto will outpass JMM's resume with the pace he's in right now.

Hard fight after hard fight against top quality opponents.

Why when talking resumes to people include losses. That's only if we're talking strength of opposition.

I really don't know who has a better resume, it's debatable, but how do you get credit for losing?

"Mayweather, Pacquiao, blah blah" HE LOST. And frankly he was embarrassed by Floyd Mayweather, so how does he get credit for that.

If this is the case, I'm going to become a boxer, raise huge sums of money and get my ass kicked by all the top fighters, then I'll be a legend.

            Come on now.

            This is Marquez's real resume:
            Barrera
            Casamayor
            Diaz
            Juarez
            Manuel Medina
            Peden
            Gainer

            Very good

marquez has the better resume in terms of names but has lost against the best of the bunch. he got batterd by floyd, beaten twice by manny, and beaten by john. He beat a one dimendional diaz an old barerra and a shot and old casamayor. Cotto although not having the names on his record, has beaten shane mosley, clottey, judah and lost against a very very very dodgy margeritto who proberly used doctored wraps.

Mosley was old and shot, Clottey was a nobody who lost all his biggest fights, Margarito was a one dimensional, slow brawler with no skill and he beat the **** out of Cotto and made him quit, wraps didn't make a damn difference and Judah had lost his last three fights before Cotto as well as never winning a big fight anyway. Marquez takes this.

If Barrera was old and shot after coming off a win streak of Juarez x 2, Peden, Ayala, Morales and Fana and Casamayor was also old and shot after coming off a win streak over Katsidis, Corrales, Kid Diamond etc, then how do you even mention Judah who hadn't even won a fight in years?

See how I did that? Wanker.

I was gonna post pretty much exactly what No1 posted....Cotto has better wins, while Marquez has slightly better names. I think Cotto edges it as he'll have Manny on his resume too soon and, if he wins, most likely adds Mayweather too.

Marquez got Barrera too late and got himself left out of the Manny-Morales-Barrera thing.

its hard to compare resumes being that they have fought in 2 different weight classes up until marquez last fight but i do know one thing cotto destroys marquez at ww.
