Top Soviet Bivol and Oleksandr fought only once this yearStill a great boxer, pound for pound number one, arguably.
I guess Usyk and Bivol could argue the case. Crawford retired, and Benavidez, although high up there, needs a bigger win against a. Bivol and/ or Beterbiev.
But yes, can't knock everyone out, no one can. There's always someone that can go the distance with a murderous puncher.
Oleksandr opp Daniel was good but far from great
now he's fighting Cherry Shot Deontay next in which could be another one of his fight once a year bouts
Oleksandr made himself p4p #3 or 4 with his recent actions!

Actually it is a lot by weight percentage. Going from 108 to 122 is a 13 percent increase in weight. Crawford went from 135 to 154 which is slightly less than 13 percent. If you add the canelo fight then its much more but they have essentially moved up the same amount barring that one fight. I dont think anyone would ever say crawford didnt challenge himself before the canelo fight.
Canelo going from 154 to 175 is also slightly less than 13 percent. I dont think anyone would say canelo didnt challenge himself.
Going from 108 to 135 would be a dramatically bigger jump than anything those guys did. Of course you can want to see it but its not very reasonable to criticize someone for not doing thst big of a jump.

Picasso's last win was over Kyonosuke Kameda. Kameda beat 3 division world titlist John Riel Casimero in his very next fight and also holds a win over former WBC 115 champion Suriyan Sor Rungvisai.👍 1Comment

He won't be Erik Morales but he'll probably win a world title at some point. He's only 25 years old and Inoue is going to vacate 4 straps and move to 126 after he dismantles Nakatani next year.👍 1Comment

Inoue's issue is he's just so much better than everybody else in and around his weight class. Not his fault, but I guess will probably effect his all time standing in the long run.
All he can do is keep fighting the best out there. He's not going to get challenged until he keeps moving up in weight but he has no obligation to move up since he's already in his 5th weight class.
Also, the context of this being his 4th fight in a calendar year has to be considered. No one ever looks good having that many fights in that space of time at the top level. 4 training camps back to back in a 12 month period isn't a good idea.👍 1Comment
