Comments Thread For: Judges all favor Junto Nakatani against unlucky Mexican Sebastian Hernandez

Three judges had read the script that had been written ahead of 2026. The fight so many in boxing wanted, between Junto Nakatani and Naoya Inoue, stayed alive courtesy of one of the year?s worst scorecards in a fight that was on course to be both an Upset of the Year and a Fight of the Year contender.

Nakatani landed clean all night but the volumne of Hernandez was abnormal i never saw something like that. The amount of power punches he took, i mean clean punches all night long to head and body and he was throwing without stopping for a second. He was sometimes running across the ring very very abnormal performance.

That being said he did not really land anything clean even his body punches have been mostly blocked but in round 10 to 12 he started landing some clean punches but Nakatani was the rightful winner.

118-110 was a to wide. I think 116-112 or 115-113 is the most accurate score.

Sebastián won a close fight, dominated most of the second part of the fight and Junto face was looking like an alien.

His short left hand was very effective all night, and outworked Junto landing clean to the body and face.

Nakatani had a lot of problems with Chihuas Rodríguez similar style, but Hernández is bigger and stronger than Rodríguez.

      Great fight, and CORRUPTED scorecards.

They had the indication to make sure the Inoue vs Nakatani fight.

Nakatani face say other thing. He was outworked and i don't know what fight You SEE

But Hernández dominated close but clearly the whole second part of the fight since round 6 he outworked Nakatani that ended running and clinching.

Hernández short left hand is his best weapon, and was landing clean in the SHORT DISTANCE.

Nakatani did not land that much, Hernández high and close guard blocked a Lot.

        Lol

60% of the fans see Hernández win.

The Best real result would be a draw for Junto.

You judge a fight by the face. Do i really need to explain to you why you are wrong? You said he dominated close but clearly. I think you should understand that your statements making no sense.

I prefer quality over just blind volumne while eating super clean punches for majority of the rounds.

You said "60% of the fans see Hernández win" That means 40 percent thought Nakatani won.

My question to you. Do you really think the majority of fans know how to judge a boxing fight or even know the judging criterias?

I don't judge the fight by the face.

But Hernández short hand in the SHORT DISTANCE and combos were touching clearly Junto

He dominated the whole second part.

And I mean, Hernández dominante was clear but in this kind of competitive fights the other guy works too. But Hernández won.

And yeah, most international fans see this fight in favor of Hernández, this fight was not televised in México lol

Rudy Hernández was mad , Junto got outworked.

Junto don't want that smoke again.

He was running, tired, clinching a lot and with his eye busted like an alien.

Hernández can absorb the power of Junto and Junto couldnt mantain Hernández away of himself.

Never seen Nakatani run around like that. Hernandez looked like Jason Vorheez in there.
