If Dirrell had fought the first 9 rounds like he fought the last he would've won, and I think he knows deep down he simply didn't do enough to TAKE the title. He didn't land anywhere near the amount of punches some people are suggesting either, most of the punches hit Froch's shoulder and were glancing blows at best. Neither fighter really landed anything big apart from the odd punch. It was a close/poor fight, and a case can be made for either fighter winning but the champion got the benefit of the doubt with the decsion.

Just a quick note on the dirty tactics, it is actually ilegal to deliberatly duck your head below your opponents waiste. Now I don't condone rabbit punching, but Dirrells antics were hardly that of a choirboy either.

If its so illegal to do that then why was Dirrell only deducted points for clinching and not ducking? And Dirrell is not the only one who has done that, several top fighters have ducked like that and I never seen a ref once say anything wrong with it.

Calzaghe does it against Kessler too, never warned for it. Because you brits are exaggerating about it, many top fighters duck and dodge punches like that.

And what you call him? Brave? You are insane don't know what boxing is made of. Use your boxing ability in the center of the ring by using hand speed, good footwork and body movement, that's boxing. Not running around the ring and hold when caught. Dirrel don't deserve the victory.

I know one thing about Froch and Dirrell, these two mother ****ers should stop talking **** about Calzaghe. He would own their souls in my opinion. And Dirrells work-rate is low as hell and so was frochs... Froch tries to act like he is such an entertaining fighter when he isn't even fun to watch. Froch is the same fighter who basically waited until Taylor punched himself out to strike in to finish him. Froch overrating his entertainment value, personally I like fighters like Calzaghe even though they throw 1,000 slaps they are constanly throwing.

only non fighters throw the words coward, and ***** around. It takes a lot of guts to get in the ring with a trained fighter. Especially a neanderthal like Carl Froch. Good lord. It takes courage to take a punch to the face that would debilitate some plebe keyboard afficionado such as yourself, and continue to stand, and not only stand, but stay aware and reacting.
