Oh I still mean all the things I said. I still see Gatti coming from behind on points and knocking his ass out but it just isn't the likely outcome. So no, I'm not going to bet on it.

And of course Mayweather has fought the better opposition and of course he is the better P4P fighter. But he is a lightweight and he's fighting a guy who usually weighs 150 lbs or more on the night of his fights. Do you remember Gatti-Gamache? Gamache was a lightweight just like Mayweather. It's true that he wasn't half the fighter that Mayweather is in terms of skill and talent but the fight still demonstrates what Gatti can do to a smaller opponent when his fists make contact.

I have always said when Mayweather is on top of his game there are very few who can beat him and Gatti won't be one of those few. Mayweather seems more serious then I have ever seen him. I don't think he will underestimate Gatti. Mayweather knows who he's in there with and he knows that he can beat Gatti. On top of that Mayweather has waited for this opportunity for a very long time so I expect him to bring his A-game and more.

Mayweather by comfortable decision. He's says he will stop Gatti but I see Gatti at least going the distance.

Good call. Mayweather can land all night but the chances of him stopping Gatti without opening himself up too often are pretty slim.

Floyd isn't dumb for bashing Gatti.

One thing Andre Countermanche conviently got to point out when he tried saying Floyd no-showed the Gatti vs. Leija fight is the fact that Gatti also no showed Floyd's fight and was supposed to be there too. So yeah.

And Floyd wanted the fight against Gatti in January anyhow, but Gatti felt too overwhelmed after beating Dorin in 2 rounds so he wanted yet another tune-up, as if he didn't just have one. Gatti's days are numbered and he knows it.

Are you sure Floyd wanted the fight in January? Everything i read made it seem like he was tied up in court untill this month. You can't train for a fight when your in court all day.

I have a feeling that Floyd could goof off enough to lose a fight, now or sometime soon. Then he will get serious and avenge it, but you can't train that hard when you are worried about court, hanging out with P Diddy, and finding the time to beat your woman.

I can't see how anybody would actually be a Gatti fan.

Anyhow, Floyd fought Bruseles in January, what the hell are you talking about Joeboxer? Floyd fought Bruseles because he couldn't fight Gatti, so he fought Bruseles to become the WBC #1 contender to Gatti's title. So now Gatti has to fight Floyd eventually or forfeit that title.

I still expect Gatti to pull out of the fight or at least postpone it once more.

You are right. He did have a fight, I guess I was just thinking of why Gatti said the fight had not happend earlier.
