Many people criticize on this forum Bud's resume and claim that he would not measure up to Mayweather, Leonard, Hearns etc.

However, consider this. Bud is an all time great who does not have:
    - a loss on his record
    - or a disputed win where you could reasonably argue the other guy won.

As far as I know, no judge has ever scored a fight against him or scored one of his fights a draw.

He has won undisputed titles in 3 weight divisions. Canelo who shared the ring with Bud and Floyd claims that Bud is "way better than Mayweather".

How many all time greats can say that?

Anyone who thinks this clown is actually retiring I have a bridge to sell you, he realized he really didn't have anywhere to go, he was going to have to take a tough fight against a primed opponent, and risk losing. He is terrible with money, has not really stacked wealth, he will be back

He “is terrible with money”? You are besties with him so you know how “terrible he is with money”? Is that what’s up?

                Blanket statement
Other than Nelo, no one will be mentioning his opps by name.

He broke turnbuckles, jaws, ribs, and eye sockets. One of the hardest punchers in 147 pound history. If he lands, that can change a fight pretty fast.

He should retire to keep his health intact. When he speaks he doesn't sound like he has punch drunk. It's unfortunate for the fans, because we never got to see him fight Boots or Vergil Ortiz jr. But you can't deny that he was the best of this era within his weight classes. Spence, Canelo, Porter, Kell Brook, Madrimov, and the indomitable Jeff Horn. I hope he comes back but if you can retire healthy....It's always a big risk.

Totally agree which is why I don't rule out a QUICK return to the ring next year to rematch Canelo or fight Sheeraz (if he becomes world champion).

I'm not saying it's definitely GOING to happen but don't rule it out altogether.
