MIAMI ? Anthony Joshua did not take kindly to claims that he would take it easy on Jake Paul. Like many of Paul?s bouts before, there are doubts if the contest on Friday at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, will be a legitimate contest. After all, why else would Paul, a man who made his name on YouTube, take on a former two-time heavyweight titleholder and Olympic gold medalist??

There's just something so satisfying about watching AJ getting knocked down/out
Seeing those eyes when he glares up at the referee...
I am no JP fan, but I'm hoping for a replay on Friday

I know AJ should win this fight for every and any reason, in no universe should JP win but boxing karma is like no other and I just feel like it has chosen AJ to send to the nether realm this time. I know that sounds insane, but that’s the kind of crazy **** that happens in boxing.

“Do you know I was actually looking at myself today, I'm a very respectful guy, brought up by a good family, but if I can kill you, I will kill you. That's just how I am, and this is just the job I do. So let's go.”

AJ spends at least 30mins looking at himself each day but the squared circle is a dangerous place, will AJ the lion be prowling next week?

The irony I find in this matchup is that they're making AJ come in at a more trim and lighter weight where he's only going to be faster which can equal more power. Speed+strength=pop. By all means, they've given AJ even more of an advantage.

JP likes to say his speed will be the difference. If you were an elite, then yes, you can probably use that speed properly to time AJ and get your shots off before him. Though you're not and now you've given an elite speed by having him come in lighter weight.

Perhaps they thought they were going to drain him by having him come down around 245lbs, but that's actually not that terrible of a cut when you're heavyweight if he was weighing previously around 255. It was probably a healthier move to have better cardio and speed. He might want to continue sticking to that weight in the future.

In a normal world, I don't see any outcome that AJ doesn't win. People are forgetting, JP has gassed out at lighter weight in the past against inferior opponents. AJ isn't those guys.

If AJ doesn't SPLATTER him inside of 4 rounds like Ngannou then you know the fix is in. Especially if he survives until the final bell!

You saying this but the truth is it never ever happenend before this would by far be the biggest upset in sports history. People say Tyson vs Douglas but in reality Mike Tyson was a solid World Champion nothing more and he fought a talented and on that night serious contender.

AJ is a former world champion in his 30s who is a exceptional puncher Olympic winner with skill speed experienc against a guy who lost against a nr. 100 ranked fighter. A guy who would lose against any half decent amateur a guy who would not be able to beat any Top 100 Heavyweight.

This never happenend in boxing and will never happen it's like saying a 10 year old kid would beat a pro NBA player in a 1on1.
