'Seldin has a history of testing positive for testosterone. The 39-year-old Long Island-bred Seldin was guilty of the infraction in separate tests in 2016 and 2017, the latter of which resulted in a canceled June 2017 fight with Mike Arnaoutis in Huntington, New York.

The only real disciplinary action taken was his not being eligible to participate in WBC-sanctioned bouts for six months. The 2017 infraction came while Seldin was not yet licensed by the New York State Athletic Commission. 'Celtus Seldin, and undefeated welterweight, has just tested positive for dramatically high levels of testosterone which has forced his June 15th fight against Mike Arnaoutis at the Paramount in Huntington, New York to be canceled, reports ESPN.

Joe DeGuardia of Star Boxing said that he’s likely to scrap the entire card now that the Seldin, the popular local attraction, will not longer be on it.

Selin (19-0, 16 KOs) provided a May 23 urine sample to VADA as part of the WBC’s Clean Boxing Program. But according to a letter from the president of VADA, Dr. Margaret Goodman, Selin’s urine came back with some atypical findings.

Selin’s testosterone to epitestosterone ratio was a stunning 21.02 to 1, far beyond the 4 to 1 maximum threshold according to the World Anti-Doping Agency. And as a means of comparison, heavyweight Shannon Briggs was just busted for a 7.89 to 1 ratio, and this nearly triples that!'

Seldin seems like a real shady character. I remember when he was hyped a bit after beating down a few shopworn names. I think it was HBO aired a few of his fights and then Yves Ulisses boxed his ears off and showed Cletus' limited skills in the ring.
