In my opinion if Wilder beats Usyk then this is one of the greatest upsets in boxing history and I'll be shocked. I'm saying that this will be right up there with Randy Turpin beating SRR in 1951 and Buster Douglas stunning Iron Mike. The only reason this fight is even slightly intriguing is because of what a colossal upset it would be.

When Usyk loses I think it will be the kind of guy that Wilder was. I always thought he'd be a bad choice for Usyk.

But now? It would be a huge shock. I don't think Wilder "can't pull the trigger". I just think he's slowed down a bit, along with upping his level of competition.

why against Usyk so much

among elite fighters Deontay was the least skilled one I've seen

he was never elite

wilder is a terrible fighter if we're being honest; constantly crossing his feet, frequently off balance, keeps getting caught square... The only reason he he did what he did was due to his dangerous nature in fights. He never was able to dish out a constant beating in bouts to fighters who were not binmen.

Not only would he probably find it difficult to land on Usyk but his main weapon is not effective anymore. wilder must've hit Hernden with about 10 clean right hands but nothing happened. This fight is about Usyk completing his scalp of the dominant heavyweights while gifting wilder a final payday for what is almost certainly his final fight.
