Most of Itauma's opponents up to now have been orthodox fighters who've struggled with facing a skilled southpaw. Zhang's power has seen Joyce, Hrgovic, Parker and Kabayal all sent to the canvas - it'd be hard to believe Itauma would be any different if Zhang connected on him.
As a fan I don't really subscribe to the idea of staying away from a fighter because they are dangerous - running towards danger and winning is what draws fans in.
With my managers hat on I can see what you are saying but Zhang has a name, is another year way past his prime and is inactive and I believe Ituama has better defence than all those you mentioned - in any case, Itauma has it in his gift to outbox Zhang for 6 rounds and then take him out.

If Gassiev struggled with Wallin's movement he'll drown with Itauma's. Still, a Gassiev fight for Moses still represents a step-up of a kind - so get it on in April/May.
Itauma has come out and said he wants to fight the older generation of boxers while he still can before they retire - so Gassiev makes some limited sense - but I'd prefer Itauma vs Zhang - would be a more compelling fight.
Zhang? The risk reward makes no sense.

as i said in my other post - I'm not a fan of risk-reward calculations - that's for managers and promoters to cacculate and they don't need help doing it - they are plenty good enough at feeding no-hopers to prospects or marinating exciting fights. I feel we should be clamouring for Itauma to step up quicker and prove himself great. Zhang isn't some immovable monster. He's got quick hands and he punches hard - and he has a decent chin. But his body is weak and his stamina is shockingly bad - if Itauma can't beat him then it's back to the drawing board.

Pulev just can't stop eating this hooks, same shot that Wlad Klitchko put him to sleep. The blueprint was there and Gassiev just exploit it. Not like Kubrat was doing anything with than 1-2. Once Murat got his timing it was all clear

Ignoring the belt, this was not a bad contest. Reminiscent of the stuff Eurosport would show from the continent back in the day.

Scorecards matter if you go the distance. You can drop some rounds to study and set up. It's not like was some lucky punch out of nowhere.

I watched just to see that ugly ape Pulev's lights turned off. And I was not disappointed.

Pulev is way past his prime but he has always been a tough fellow with a good jab. Gassiev has had some injuries and layoffs, good result to spark Pulev out.

Back during the laggy German streams days from the early 2010s at 2pm ET.
