Both fights were close so MD seems like the correct outcome. Regardless, after the trilogy, one of them needs to go up and face Opetaia whereas the other needs to fight Benavidez. In my opinion, the winner should stay at Light Heavyweight (and defend his belts) whereas the loser should move up to Cruiserweight.

honestly, I thought in the second fight, I felt much better in terms of what I was saying to him. at the same token, I’ve never watched the fight over so I forget exactly what I was saying in the first fight to be completely honest with you. I just know sometimes as a person in the corner you have a feeling of how you are doing, and I definitely felt like my advice in the second fight was good
