He turned into a fat little guy who was the favorite and saw himself as the favorite. That's what happened.

I honestly don't know why people are surprised. The only thing I was surprised about was that Fulton was the slight favourite going in. Not that he's a bad fighter, he's not, but he's also never shown any indication of being that good that he should be expected to move up and out-skill bigger men.
Foster was bigger and faster, that's it. Fulton found himself in a situation where he couldn't sit back and counter. He had to be the one to lead off, close the distance and take risks and that's far harder to do (successfully). Foster was fast, sharp and unwilling to take any unnecessary risks. Just about the worst style match-up possible for Fulton considering he doesn't have the power to turn things around with one (or more than one) punch.
It was a boring fight, truth be told. After about five rounds you'd seen everything it had to offer. I enjoyed the Lara fight more yet the commentary were tearing that one down the whole time.Comment

I have to disagree. If it were as you described, Fulton would have started fast and faded. Fulton, is an excellent, BASIC, fighter. He lacks creativity. His fight against Inoue was the same, wash, rinse, repeat, no variation.Fulton just showed up but Foster showed up to win. Fulton underestimated O’Shaquie.
He didn’t put in the proper and necessary work in the gym for this fight. He was unprepared.
He did not do so because he didn’t respect O’Shaquie Foster as a worthy opponent. Which was also the reason why he lost.Comment
