thinking about it again i asked myself the question in my head (have u ever taken recreational drugs) & if i hadnt i would say No i have not taken recreational drugs, ive had a few beers of course Ha Ha & so on so i can see that answer actually but what he said is this

Do you mean 'deceptive language' as in Joe Parker gave his best honest answers to straight questions? You must never have heard a politician talk. Give a guy on his knees a break.

No, if you're familiar with the concept of statement analysis you would notice there was distancing language in there. Saying "you" when he meant "I" is one example. Doesn't by itself mean he's guilty, just that they're sensitive areas.

It was a hedging answer, leaving open his interpretation of recreational drugs. If he's going to answer this way rather than shut down the conversation by saying he can't/won't comment then we're free to judge his words.

Yes, if I had to come down on one side of the fence I'd say he has taken them - as least pot. But he did say "I wouldn't say recreational drugs" - that's pretty clear. Maybe there's omething like ayahuasca in New Zealand - or maybe he he's a glue-sniffer?

But also, anyone who's been around alcoholism is very clear that alcohol is a recreational drug. Infact it's always stated by the legalize cannabis advocates that alcohl does a lot more harm than marijuana.

If he said something like, No no way ive never had recreational drugs ever, not me, never & especially not in fight week are you mad, coke during fight week, no way thats crazy (which it is), what he says comes across different to that, it could be just his personality or other factors at play but it just reads a bit odd thats all

having said that, the usual response is to vehemently deny allegations and most of them if not all are lying through their teeth so take the whole thing with a pince of salt, they may well all be lying, just in different ways

What is this? Are you trying minimize his drug use? ******* is not marijuana and it's a felony to possess in every country in the world. Do I think a two year ban is overkill? Not really, since you could due prison for the same amount of time if you were busted by the police.
I have no sympathy for cheaters. Only 1.7% of all B-samples ever come back as negative. If it confirms his use, then he needs to enter a drug rehab program. If not, then there needs to be scrutiny on how the lab screwed this up.
