That’s what it boils down to. Devin Haney beat Lomachenko fair and square in a close fight and some people still can’t get over it.

That said, Haney CAN be quite boring to watch. After all he IS the one that caused Turki to come up with the term “Tom and Jerry fights.”

      He’s a boring fighter.
      He’s a dirty fighter.
      He’s a weight bully.
      He’s overrated.
      He’s a crybaby and a b1 tch.

Add sore loser to the list and in my opinion he is getting away with juicing somehow. His physique is not natural.

        It’s all jealousy.

When people watch Devin Haney fight they wish that their own mother hugged them as kids like Haney hugs other men in the ring.

Also very few people in their childhood on xmas ever got a gift decision against a 3 weight champion.

        Simple as that.

What does conor benn have to do with anything? Hes basically a just good enough fighter to milk a career off his father's name. He's basically irrelevant as far as HOF level so nobody complains about his PED bust

Devin Haney had much higher expectations and was billed as one of the next generation to lead after the Floyd pac era and fell flat. His father's attitude is terrible and his hugging style, extreme weight cuts and lack of power are also not fan friendly

The last two rounds Haney was just hugging Norman to suffocate his power. Against Ramirez, he shot jabs at him for 12 rounds and didn't even try to engage in the fight. You can make the argument that Jose Ramirez should have cut the ring off and fair enough. I only saw some of the Loma fight but I wouldn't be surprised if I score it in favor of Lomachenko after watching it. Because the parts I did see were Loma completely out classing him. I mostly dislike him because him and his Dad hype him up as the greatest thing since slice bread while he waters down the product in the ring.

If you watch his fights and can't see that he is cheating by clinching and hugging excessively and really even beyond excessively....and then you shrug your shoulders knowing he should have been dq'd or at least had points taken, and act like people dislike him because of his behavior, skin color, etc....than yeah, you are embracing his clinching and his behavior in general and being facetious as h e l l.

                  They hate Floyd
                  They hate Tank

                  They hate Boots Ennis
                  They hate Wilder

"They" pretty much hate every successful current Black American fighter.

The only Black American fighters they like fought a long ass time ago, so they can say, "I liked Muhammad Ali" or something like that or foreigners.

Once "they" started defending a drug cheat like Ryan Garcia with 60x the allowed amount of Ostarine in his system, while also blowing weight, I knew what time it was.

People are literally writing “10 things I hate about you” essays in this thread while simultaneously claiming he’s not hated. It really doesn’t matter though.

What I wanted to say is, Loma lost a very close fight to Haney. It was far from a robbery.

people dont understand, u had loma and haney, all the people who hate loma say hes privileged and pampered etc well it was haney who got that treatment, he got a UD with a 116-112 card in a fight i think most thought loma actually won, loma didnt get the calls on his close fights, he wasnt protected at all, haney got that & lots of others yes like andre ward, thats why people give out about them, the scorecards and results they have dont reflect reality, they reflect they were the home guys who got the protection & all they and their fans do is boast about it constantly
