Special Ben is the same age as Benavidez. He better hope that Benavidez and Morrell move up in weight in the next years or i assume he will keep fighting at a low level.

He is talented but i can't see him improve enough to get to the world level let alone beating a guy like Benavidez. Everything about Benavidez is wrong for Ben and even if he improves a ton he would not even last as long a Yarde did.

Just mentioning Benavidez since Ben did an interview mentioning the fight with Benavidez and that he is on that level just needs a bit more experience : D

He beat Khataev in the amateurs; if he wants to prove himself, they should run it back.

I suspect he won't go that far as that puts him in one-way traffic with Morrell and Benavidez. I wager he'll continue on his current level.

We'll see.. Watched him once and the only thing I remember is a funky temper tantrum.

Better not be a Richardson Hitchins type special..

These cats need to stop saying that, it's worthless unless it comes from a knowledgeable independent observer and sounds childish.

Richardson Hitchins is actually legit world class. He is not only way miore talented but also way more proven. He is on a level Ben Whittaker will never be at that's for sure.

Ahh bless, princess thinks hes special.
I think he'll be lucky to reach low level tier 2 on par with Buatsi, he'll never be a Smith whos a high tier 2/low tier 1.

Dear God, is Ben Whittaker trying to talk his opponents to death because he's frightened to get in a ring and find someone who still has a pulse standing there?
