I know dumbass but I was just pointing out the fact that Manny had never fought higher than 142lbs before facing Cotto. Therefore, insisting on a 146lbs catchweight seems perfectly REASONABLE to me unlike Mayweather who had 4 fights at Welterweight (and was a champion) yet insisted on fighting JMM at a catchweight before coming in HEAVIER himself!

Manny was only fighting for the SECOND time at Welterweight when he fought Cotto and had previously not fought higher than 142lbs vs. DLH. That's NOT the same as Mayweather (who had 4 fights at Welterweight and was a champion) insisting on a catchweight to fight JMM and then coming in HEAVIER himself!
