    The four fights in Saudi Arabia last night delivered thrills and spills. There were victories for David Benavidez, Devin Haney, Jesse Rodriguez and Abdullah Mason over Anthony Yarde, Brian Norman Jnr, Fernando Martinez and Sam Noakes, respectively.?

    We didn't learn very much, but only because each fight went the way many expected. Time to step up a level for each of the winners or at least stop bigging yourselves up as God's gift to boxing.

      I think we learned Mason isn't as chinny as people thought going in and he can do the rounds, he ticked a lot of boxes and Noakes is no joke, very good losing effort, gave it everything but came up short.

      Haney looked better moving up and silenced a lot of critics. He's not always fun to watch but I think boxing needs more Devin Haneys and a whole lot less divas. Have to give him credit he's one of very few top guys who actually challenges himself and doesn't play this ridiculous boogyman role.

      Not sure there was anything to learn or take away from the other fights other than Benavidez vs Yarde should never have been the main event but I good card otherwise just that was a bizarre decision for me.
