It stinks that Bivol or Beterbiev likely aren't next for Benavidez. I suspect he heard from Turki that the trilogy is next for those two. So, the way I see it, in going up to face Zurdo, Benavidez and team look to accomplish two main things, in order:
    1. Take over the Mexican holidays Canelo has dominated
    2. Get belts in yet another division vs just defending the 175 lb belt he has.

I'd prefer David to defend at 175 because if he goes up to Cruiserweight I don't know if he'll be able to come back down and then we'll miss out on fights with Benavidez vs Bivol and Beterbiev. But, should David beat Zurdo - and with his speed, output, and stamina I think he will - a fight against Opetaia would be just as desirable.

I seen enough to know Bivol and Beterbiev would both beat Benavidez.

Per Dave in the post fight presser his plan is Zurdo followed by Top Soviet Bivol

Fat Dave is doing a roundtrip to cruiser. The money fights are still at 175 Saul Top Soviet Bivol. I only see Fat Dave becoming a perma cruiser after he does a big money fight at 175 or if he eats his way out of 175

the version of Buff Guy Artur that Fat Dave could fight would high wear and tear

I favor Prime Fat Dave over 42 year old Artur who would have 3 back to back losses to Top Soviet Bivol and taken a buncha high impact clean strikes

Fat Dave would get got by Top Soviet Bivol and Parker's Cousin Buff Guy Jai
