I remember Safar beating Kovalev but not much else, its hard to rate him because of how diminished Kovalev was at that point, fat Dave would probably be Glibert's most notable opponents aside from Bivol. I also remember when Glibert fought Arthur Abraham and he looked enourmous against that manlet, how he ever made 168 I'll never know.

lmao Fat Gilbert rehydrated to 205 against Top Soviet Bivol
and still got MOPPED anyways even with the 22 pounds weight advantage
Fat Gilbert so fat that Bivol’s punches could only bounce off of his head

Fat Dave looked great last night. He finally beat a shared opponent better than an all time great did
I now have him in the very good tier upgraded from good tier

Haha I told you so! Yarde is a durable opponent but he couldn't cope with Fat Dave's constant pressure and combinations. Also, it's good to see that Benavidez finally answered questions about his power carrying through to Light Heavyweight as he got him out of there quicker than Kovalev & Beterbiev. Also, unlike those guys, he wasn't in danger of getting stopped or losing on the scorecards. Great performance.

I favor Fat Dave over the version of Artur that he could fight
Artur will be coming off of arguably 3 back to back losses to Top Soviet Bivol
in which Artur took many high impact clean strikes
and he’ll likely be 42 by then
I like Fat Dave’s defense chin sustained body attack and speed over Artur’s big power bombs
Fat Dave gets mopped by Top Soviet Bivol and Parker’s Cousin Buff Guy Jai
Fat Gilbert idk would need to study him more heard he evolved into boxing and using angles upon cruiserweight

At this stage of their careers, I don't think that Bivol or Beterbiev would 'mop the floor' with Fat Dave. After all, they're both old and getting injured more frequently plus they've been through 2 WARS with each other. Therefore, after going up to Cruiserweight and beating Fat Gilbert, I give him a good shot of beating either of them (especially if the sparring stories with Bivol are true).
However, I DO agree that Opetaia would give him a real challenge given that he's a natural Cruiserweight and just as quick and powerful. Having said that, the lack of big names on his CV would probably give Fat Dave the edge and make it a 50-50 fight.

Speaking of that Fat Dave's most recent telling of his Bivol sparring tales
he confirms that no one was dropped with a jab
in their final sparring session [they had many great sparrings per Fat Dave] Top Soviet Bivol was cutoff on the ropes and Fat Dave fired a 20-piece combo that wobbled Top Soviet Bivol's legs
beauty of Top Soviet Bivol style is it results in less wear and tear for the user
Fat Dave is younger but regularly takes big shots even in easy fights like Yarde
Dave started boxing at 3 to Bivol's 6. Mexican-Ameri boxing culture is gym wars. Soviets like technical spars
6 years older but what are their biological clocks
I think Bivol learned that day that Fat Dave is best when he has someone along the ropes
While Bivol can fight inside [whooped Saul at close quarters too in the championship rounds] I see him moving often against Fat Dave. Whenever Fat Dave occasionally gets through the movement Top Soviet will clinch or use his head to stuff Dave offensively.
It's Fat Dave's short range combos that hurt mofos. Bivol moves like he did v Artur and Fat Dave can't do these combos

We'll see...I watched an interview with Bivol after their sparring sessions where he spoke VERY highly of Benavidez and called him a 'great fighter'. Personally, at this stage of their careers, I think it'll be a 50/50 matchup if they do eventually fight. In terms of the fight itself, if Benavidez was able to have competitive sparring with Bivol that means he'll have no trouble getting to him in the fight despite how nimble Bivol is on his feet.

Buff Guy Artur [who throws more than Fat Dave] was Top Soviet Bivol's box a pressure fighter ultimate exam
Buff Guy Artur averaged 57 punches per round in rematch
Fat Dave averaged 45 punches per round against Gvozdyk and Cuban David
coincidentally Top Soviet Bivol also averaged 45 punches per round against Artur in the rematch
Fat Dave is a volume IN BURSTS whenever he can get the opp on the ropes
His output decreases with opponents who have boxing skill
Add in Top Soviet Bivol's clinching and head for further declines in Fat Dave's volume
