I was wrong about this fight. When this fight was announced I thought that Norman was going to destroy Haney. But things that stood out to me at the weigh-in: Haney looked bigger, he looked great physically, and he didn't stutter when he spoke. I thought that Haney was showing signs of being punch drunk even before the Ryan Garcia fight. His time away, and his reintroduction back to the ring against Ramirez, proved helpful. Haney made Norman look like an amateur.

I got this one wrong too. Haney exposed Norman. He made Norman look slow and off balanced. Hats off to Haney. I can't stand all the holding though.

It’s not towards you. So don’t take it personal. I am referring to all the boxing fans whom claim to boxing fans but in reality they are not.

You and I were the only ones picking Haney to win. I said that Haney was the more seasoned, scientific and fundamentally sound of the two.

With a better resume and Ring IQ. The others were claiming they were picking Brian Norman, Jr; A novice opponent and a fighter they didn’t know.

Good win and performance from Haney. The "holding" was nowhere near as bad as people are making out and both parties contributed. It also was nowhere near as excessive as Zach Parker the other week but a lot of poeple seem to think that was a good performance and he should've got the decision but are crying about a much more positive and impressive performance from Haney.
