I wish the writers here would use their unbias expertise and give these fraud's resumes an unbiased evaluation.

      Evidently, fans are unable to

Canelo has the better accolades right now. Maybe Benavidez will surpass him but he's going have to beat Bivol, Beterbiev, and Zurdo, after taking care of Yarde to become a World Champ in 2 divisions. I have really high expectations for him and I know he wants to go down in history as the greatest.

Yarde will be the first test for Bena at LHW. Morrell was unproven and Gvoz was semi retired.

Dave is due for a reassessment after his performance against Buff Guy Yarde

7-5’d Green Morrell, 8-4’d Rusty Gvozdyk, 8-4’d Prime Caleb, Stopped Demetrius, Split Decision Ronald

Like Saul Alvarez Dave hasn’t been DOMINANT in his biggest fights

but Saul faced the better opps so he’s better talent. 8-4’d Past Prime Miguel, KO’d Past Prime Sergey, 8-4’d Past Prime Gennady

Saul is in the shallow end of great

right now Dave ability is somewhere between good and *very good

*very good are IBHOF locks like Miguel Cotto they knocked on the doors of greatness but the gate remain closed

David Benavidez is most likely coming closer to the latter stages of his career 'him moving up to 168 pounds division, and being forced to fight closer to his more natural fighting weight is? An indication of this in my opinion. Benavidez is not a rookie fighter, and WE already know stylistically what type of fighter he is'.

David Benavidez was a bully boy fighter at 168 pounds, who relied on weight draining tactics to be the big man on fight night 'with his aggression and brute strength, he was able to garner a reputation for himself as being a power puncher and destructive fighter'.

At 175 pounds, David Benavidez power or aggression is nothing special 'pound for pound he is not one of the biggest power punchers in the sport. If he was? Then just like Prince Naseem Hamed, and Manny Pacquiao he would have carried and transferred his power up through the weight divisions. This has not happened at 175 pounds for David Benavidez'.

Note: Without a shadow of a doubt, David Benavidez is a world level fighter 'but skill for skill, he is not an elite level fighter. And to be a super dominant Champion in boxing, from my observation a fighter needs to be elite in many areas of their game. I don't see any elite areas and attributes in Benavidez as a fighter'.

To conclude: I think the media machine behind David Benavidez, very similar to Moses Itauma 'for whatever reason the media machine have picked him as the next big boxing superstar. But like I stated earlier in my post? David Benavidez is not a rookie fighter; he has already been a World Champion at 168 pounds. And lost that World title because he could not make the weight of 160 pounds'.

Can David Benavidez be a Champion at 175 pounds, for awhile? Yes sure. But then I think it will be inevitable that at some point he is going to get smashed up.

I still think that Canelo Alvarez if he moves back up to 175 pounds division and is in more solid condition there than his last fight. He still may have chance of beating David Benavidez 'because stylistically it has always been a fight straight up Alvarez's street' etc.
