He will make the HOF. Compare with Michael Moorer @ HW - both have name Ws but more name defeats. Tho Holyfield W was prime and Joshua W over Klit was past prime. Joshua makes up margin in longevity and partial unificationLast edited by VislorTurlough; 11-19-2025, 06:34 PM.Comment

Nowhere near the top 10. Doesn’t have the accolades, resume or even talent tbh. Still achieved a lot though. I’d say:
Commercially: A+
Accomplishments: B+
The fact he never captured the true HW title is a big drawback, but he did hold 3 out of 4 and beat some good fighters albeit many were past their best. I think he’s a lock for the HOF not necessarily due to accolades but due to the impact he had on boxing especially in the UK obviously.

Elite. Far better than the likes of Mike Tyson (beat nobody) Lennox Lewis (lost to two journeyman, his one good win was via a lucky cut, also robbery vs past prime Mercer) Better than Holyfield who lost about 50 fights, but below greats like Wilder, Usyk, Fury, Moses Itauma, and Rocky Balboa. Buff Guy Joshua is a tremendously successful boxerRegardless of your feelings, he won the olympic gold, became a 3x unified champ and fought damn near everyone. He did good with his limited skills and made his nation proud. Good for him. Hope he ktfo of Fake Paul and retires on a high note cause i honestly think he's done.
internationally televised bouts and belts
Achieved more than 99.99% of fighters

So I don't think he's done yet and he could still reclaim one of the Championships. He's not anywhere near the top 10 but he did accomplish a lot. My biggest complain is he never tested himself and never fought Fury or Wilder when the big 3 we're on top of the world. Imagine the excitement in England for an undefeated Tyson Fury vs AJ for the world heavyweight champiobship around 2018-2019.
It makes me sad that we'll never get that special moment.Comment
