    Why Vitali vs. D. Williams?

I was reviewing the WBC rankings, and I was shocked. There are 5 heavyweights ranked above him, and all five fighters would be much more competitive. This fight is going to be a replay of the Kirk Johnson fight, unless you are a big Cotto or Vitali fan, save your money.

cos he beat tyson who was seen as the main viable threat to vitali so now the champ vs the man who beat the man gives the best ppv figs i would think.
u may ea thoise words my friend, though i hjave to say if vitali blows Danny away im gonna be chewing on a few posts for weeks

ill change my ame or somink as a pennance, tho i think danny will pull of a surprise man...i called tyson and now im calling this one, all be it with less confidence.

C'mon, Tyson was a viable threat to Vitali? How long ago was the Lewis fight? Was it really all of 2 years ago?

its not for me to say who was viable or not, im telling you what the money match was my friend.

then the tyson nuthuggers would have been out in force to watch him get his ass pounded in to the dirt another time.

its quite sad that those who want him to win so bad and profess to love him so much are actually perpetuating him continuing and getting hurt in the ring.

tyson is finished mate as a fighter, but as a marketable commodity he sure aint.

i wouldt be surprised to see tyson get a shot at the winner of this fight, not a bit.

If Danny Williams is where the money is, why is the PPV only $39.99?

In America, this fight is simply not an attraction. I mean, even Lewis-Vitali was on HBO.

Well first off there no american fighter involved, I wouldnt pay for it to watch rahmann against vitlai, Id get a re run.
The reason its on showtime I think is because hatton is on ppv in england as a double header so tv rights as hatton was signed to showtime had to go to them not HBO or hatotn couldnt be on the bill.
Its pretty obvious they are targetting the UK for big PPV sales as danny is a uk figher.

Wouldn't a fight with Rahman or Toney bring more credibility and more sales than a fight with a guy who stopped a faded Mike Tyson?
