"The best fighter won. And that fighter was Andre Ward. He’s the only fighter who didn’t lose. I loved it and I wish it was done again in this era"

The entire super six was actually hugely biased towards andre ward. He was the only guy who had ALL his fights in his home country, actually his first fight v kessler who was the wba champ was in oakland

Contrast this for example to froch who fought in denmark finland nothingham atlantic city x2

    no comparison can be made

Mike Tyson once said, he knows a lot of GREAT people, who aren’t GOOD people.

I wonder what gave mike this great insight or is it just a good insight

Yet Crawford, who was on the outside looking in for many years, stayed the course and broke through at 35 years old. Crawford literally OUTFOUGHT the system of boxing which is tougher than any opponent in history.

hhhmmm didnt bud crawford do it exactly how he wanted it done? i mean the guy resigned with arum its not like he didnt have any or many options, he did, he just choose the best option for him, he also managed to get unification and undisputed fights, many fighters do not get these opportunities that bud got, the quality of his opposition was also not so high peaking in the spence fight, who was a damaged fighter and now a great win over canelo, but again the timing for canelo was perfect and he made nice cash as with spence and other fights, the system worked just great for bud seems to me anyway

putting boots v ortiz as a fight for the ring belt would be astounding, both boots and ortiz could have easily fought for belts at 154 right now if they wished but they didnt, thats on them and their decisions, its a non title fight until they get their asses in gear and change that

I loved the Super Six. All the world champions were involved (except Lucian Bute), USA vs Europe, there was genuine buzz and boxing fans got into it. To this day I am still mad that Andre Dirrell got robbed against Carl Froch!

If Turki wanted to make good use of his money he would bring it back. And do the first one at 154 lbs…it would be straight fire.

Where is LAchargers373 to rant at everyone regarding Ortiz demanding $10 million for Boots and for wanting to fight the Walking Dead Spence?
Canelo demanded $150 million to fight Benny. An obvious way to duck.
Canelo elected to fight Scull over Benny just like Ortiz is looking at Spence.

Meanwhile, my buddy LAchargers373 JUSTIFIES Spence as a better opponent than any of Boots. That logic is asinine. Ortiz could fight Ryan Garcia or Mario Barrios or Shshe Mosley and my boy LA will tell us they are all better than Boots’ opponents.

I wouldn’t have to tell whats already a fact lol. Glad you are starting to realize reality. When you write it down doesn’t it feel freeing? You finally put it on a post. Not that I think Spence is a great opponent at this point but is he STILL more credible than ANY of bootsys opponents? Yup. Case closed thanks for stepping back into reality. You might actually be a grown up one day at this rate

Like I said, Ortiz will next fight Shane Mosley or Broner or even Julio Caesar Chavez Jr and you would dazzle us with how much better they both are than all of Boots' opponents.
