Assuming this test was performed on a urine sample, then Parker could have ingested it anytime in the previous 5 days. Given that the effects of c0caine are short lived, it would seem highly unlikely that Parker was under the influence on the night, especially as it's not considered performance enhancing, unless you consider becoming loud, obnoxious and arrogant is an advantage.

It's regrettable that someone commanding the level of respect within the sport is setting this example, but society is peppered with people in all walks of life who have an image to maintain for the sake of their career but use recreational drugs in private.

Evander Holyfield was a blatant PED user and yet look at the reverence he's treated with now. Anthony Joshua was busted with 9 ounces of hash and pleaded guilty to intent to supply before he was selected for the olympics. So many other cases in so many other sports I could reference. So much hypocrisy in the punishments meted out by governing bodies looking the other way or doing the minimum when it's a high profile fighter generating $$$.. So much hypocrisy in the classification of recreational substances whilst encouraging the promotion of alcohol. So many emotionally charged people beating their chests when incited to do so by the media...
Sorry but coke is definitely a performance enhancer if it turns out he used it on fight night, the confidence, energy rush and pain numbing would be very useful in a fight.

Can certainly see the appeal in kocaine to Parker; no charisma, chit on the microphone duties... Kocaine for him would've been like pure personality powder lol

What are those benefits? Have you done a line before so you'd know? If you took a line 10 minutes before your ring walk you'd be 'coming down by the end of the 2nd round if not before.

What were his levels? So have you done coke or not? It seems by your crusade to have him banned you have not…
Why are you trying to save him? He messed up, after turning it all around, being this close to all the gold and this is now all he'll ever been known for. What a waste......r

what a muppet - what are you on about - you have zero chance of a refund so why even mention it. On the other hand if you think sniff has benefits and it somehow really did improve Parker's performance then you got a better fight than you would have done if Parker was clean - LMFAO

So on the night of his biggest fight, with everything on the line for a title shot in a bout he didn't need to take, we're expected to believe Joseph Parker knowingly and willingly indulged in a bout of coke sniffing ?

That he risked all his hardwork, dedication, potential huge money and faith by his team just to get what exactly ?

How wwas ingesting any drug on fight night supposed to benefit him in that instance ?

Are we expected to believe he is so naive as to think he wouldn't get busted when he would have been tested at every opportunity ?

Sorry, but I'm just not buying it.

And if he'd won, they would have pinged him anyway and he would have been stripped of his mando so the Usyk fight would not have gone ahead or even a Wardley rematch if the findings stick and a ban put in place...

Something smells off about this whole affair!

Already got it baby. If you don't ask you don't get. It's irrelevant if it improved his performance or not. He'll never know how the fight could've gone if he had stayed clean. And now he's just another one of those with an asterisk after his name. Well done Joey.
