I'm disgusted. Why aren't you? People paid good money and were sold a lie. Wardley could've died. Grow up

      I agree.

Assuming this test was performed on a urine sample, then Parker could have ingested it anytime in the previous 5 days. Given that the effects of c0caine are short lived, it would seem highly unlikely that Parker was under the influence on the night, especially as it's not considered performance enhancing, unless you consider becoming loud, obnoxious and arrogant is an advantage.

It's regrettable that someone commanding the level of respect within the sport is setting this example, but society is peppered with people in all walks of life who have an image to maintain for the sake of their career but use recreational drugs in private.

Evander Holyfield was a blatant PED user and yet look at the reverence he's treated with now. Anthony Joshua was busted with 9 ounces of hash and pleaded guilty to intent to supply before he was selected for the olympics. So many other cases in so many other sports I could reference. So much hypocrisy in the punishments meted out by governing bodies looking the other way or doing the minimum when it's a high profile fighter generating $$$.. So much hypocrisy in the classification of recreational substances whilst encouraging the promotion of alcohol. So many emotionally charged people beating their chests when incited to do so by the media...
Yes, it’s true. It’s so unfortunate because athletes are human like everyone else and prone to make mistakes ‘like everyone else.

Yet they are held to a higher standard because they are in the public eye and considered role models. So in this regard, all athletes need to be clean from substances.

However this has the potential of being an even greater threat than any type of PED ever taken because the user is actually only hurting himself more than any opponent in a boxing ring.

If this issue isn’t address it can ruin his entire life. Which includes both his career and marriage life.

Doing coke before a fight would absolutely not help. The problem with coke is you need to constantly be doing it to reap the "benefits". If anything, as it wears off (which it will) you're x10 more ****ed than if you hadn't taken it.

I'm inclined to believe somebody cooked it for him...

Who would most benefit from tainting Parker's gear ? Follow the money!

Parker cost me winning a parlay because he chose to be impaired, either during the fight or during training camp.

The Oil Skin is finished. All because he wanted to do some booger sugar.
