Ridiculous. Bootsy ennis can’t even sell in Philly his last fight was 30% compd and a lot of them didn’t even come. You see at Vergil's fight all the people who were there? Then look at their records. Also the fact bootsy already once turned down HUGE money for this fight from turki costing Vergil a bag. Both undefeated & both going well

The time now is perfect for the matchup but the timing is also slightly odd with turki wanting to make the matchup earlier in the year but not interested now so that now causes an issue

Then u have oscar who im sure is determined to milk ortiz for all he can, im sure oscar would like to put the boots fight on the back burner & get ortiz fighting the likes of spence charlo & whoever 'building the brand' then maybe maybe boots down the line, he doesnt want to risk ortiz having a tim tzu time where he went from hero to zero in short order with a hard run of opponents, it can happen

ortiz would need to over rule oscar and say yeah i want the fight now but his talk is not like that at all now, hes changed his tune, i presume having the turki cash off the table has contributed to that, hell even eddie might not be against boots getting a belt and unifying with ortiz down the line if he can get a belt and turki involved again, so i doubt the fight happens next

If Bootsy wants more money he has to beat some better people. If he understands that his record is a joke when compared to Ortiz”s. If thinks it’s an easy fight like you and everyone says then take less (which is completely valid position when you compare the 2”s resumes) win the fight and then everything Ortiz has will be his. If he wants more money he should start fighting better opponents to give his position more leverage. Thats all I’m saying, that’s a completely logical and valid stance, which is what anyone who knows anything about boxing understands. Thats what Oscar said too basically. like it or not hes a unified champ from 147, has got a huge amount of hype & is talked about by a lot in the boxing industry now and for a long time, the match up with ortiz has got people talking as well, both guys can ba-ng, the timing for the fight is just great
